Ten Consecutive Years Living in Cars : Living, Traveling, Camping, Attending College, and Performing Surveillance in Cars----and Loving It!
Published in Plastic Comb by Extreme Productions (01 November, 1999)
Average review score:

Successful alternate lifestyleCraig S. Roberts book: Ten Consecutive Years Living in Cars: is and absolute how to book written for the person who is either already in the process of living in a vehicle or is seriously contemplating it as a lifestyle. He has complete ideas on everything from: privacy, insulation and comfort, showering or bathing, toileting, drinking water retrival, storing your stuff, where to park, successful police encounters, electrical power needs, and finally critical car maintenance. Craig gives you detailed information on each subject, along with his personal observations and experience, and many other options that he has used and thought about. It is the most comprehensive well written book about car living that I've read. I also have lived in my car by choice and find his book a valuable wealth of information. I particularly appreciated his: parking recommendations, how to bath in your car or out of your car in any weather, and how to privatize your car, so no one knows you're in there. I have read Craig's book three times each time gleaning new information.

Ten Lectures on the Use of Chinese Medicinals from the Personal Experience of Jiao Shu-De
Published in Hardcover by Paradigm Pubns (January, 2003)
Average review score:

Insights into the character of medicinalsYou might wonder why you should want this book if you already have Bensky's Materia Medica. As its title implies, this book was prepared from Jiao Shu-De's lectures on Chinese medicinals. Some of my colleagues have opined that this book's target audience was barefoot doctors, and that as aspiring scholar-doctors we have little to gain from its study. I must disagree - Ten Lectures is a worthwhile read for anyone hoping to expand their knowledge of Chinese medicinals. It is written in a clear, conversational style, and it does more than most books in English to clarify the individual character of specific medicinals as well as to place them in their proper context, i.e. prescriptions. There is also some sage advice on herbal prescribing in general.
Ten Lectures is a worthy translation and it belongs in your collection whether you are a student of Chinese medicine or a Chinese medical professional.

Tennis, Beyond the Inner Game
Published in Paperback by Sterling Publications (April, 1977)
Average review score:

A student's viewI had the pleasure of working with the author, Craig Wilson, for several years at the beginning of his career. Craig's approach was always to thoughtfully and thoroughly break down each stroke into parts that a student could assimilate. Craig has taken a similar approach to what he and others have called the "inner game" of tennis. His book helps the advanced player deal with the ultimate hurdles to a successful tennis game, namely, those housed in the mind.

Three Minutes of Intimacy: Dance Your Way to a Sensational Social Life
Published in Paperback by Sundance Publishing Inc (01 October, 2000)
Average review score:

It's really that easy to make friends on the dance floor! This book so accurately tells how much good can come in your life by simply joining a social partner dance class. Marcott explains, along with quotes from other dancers, how having the opportunity to feel music through the moving touch of another person, your dance partner of the opposite sex, is just simply a happy tingling sensation that makes your whole being smile. And really men, there are sooo many women who want to dance, that if you learn well, it's likely many women will want to dance with you. Remember, usually there are more women than men at most dances, in any style (i.e. ballroom, swing, latin, tango, country, contra) so who gets to dance every song if they want??? What a great way to be intimate with other people, one on one, without it being more than a dance if you don't want!!Marcott also has a good long list of complete resouces for guidance.

Time and the Metaphysics of Relativity (Philosophical Studies Series, Volume 84)
Published in Hardcover by Kluwer Academic Publishers (December, 2000)
Average review score:

Rigorous and CompellingIn this masterful work, Craig tackles the extremely difficult issue of just what exactly relativity theory says about time. He defends relativity against various detractors, and then refutes the doctrine of metric conventionalism. Then he gets down to the nitty gritty. Through a thorough analysis of the positivistic foundations of Einstein's original formulations, and Minkowski's implausible reformulation in terms of a static theory of time, Craig concludes that a Neo-Lorentzian interpretation of relativity theory is the most plausible. He defends his conclusion against charges of ad hocness and even supports it with quantum mechanical observations.
This book is not an easy read. However, it is mandatory reading for all interested in the philosophy of time or relativity theory.
Let us hear no more of how relativity allegedly supports a static theory of time or how it is irreconcilable with God being temporal.
Thank you, William Lane Craig!
